Stone Restoration and Replacement

At Midwest Maintenance, we are masters at restoring or replacing carved stone décor or trim such as windowsills and headers in historic buildings, back to as close to the original as possible.

Stone restoration: For broken corners or other stone damage, we use specific products to match the stone’s texture and color and scrape and shape it to the proper dimensions.

Stone replacement: Whether it’s limestone from Indiana or granite from New England, with our stone resources across the United States, we can source stone back to its original origin. While specific quarries may no longer exist, our goal is to identify sources from the same area so your new stone pieces look as original as possible.
