Scope included: Tower Scaffolding – 150’ steel beam where used to carry the weight of the tower scaffolding. No scaffolding weight rested on the existing roof due to the structure conditions. Structural Wood Replacement – The tower sheathing was removed to install large wood structural members. New Copper Gutters – All existing built-in gutters were replaced with 20 oz copper. Proper drainage was established before the copper was installed. New Copper Valleys – All new roof valleys were installed using 20 oz copper. New Slate Roof. All new sheathing, underlayment, and slate was installed on the tower. The slate patterns where installed like the original roof back in 1886.
